Computer and Internet Tips and Tricks


On-Screen Keyboard:
The keyboard is an important part (input device) of the computer. If the main keyboard is lost or not work properly, then the on-screen keyboard can be used as an alternative. To use the on-screen keyboard:
  • First turn on the computer and go to Start menu
  • Then go to All Programs from Start menu
  • Click Accessories and then click on Accessibility/ Ease of Access
  • Finally click on the On-Screen Keyboard
  • The on-screen keyboard will appear on your screen.
Shortcut process: Click on Start then Run. Type ‘OSK’ and press enter. The on-screen keyboard will come up.


Calculate your age using MS Excel:
A file created with Microsoft Excel allows to accurately calculating age. Follow the steps:
  • Download the Excel file named 'Age Calculator' from the address http://tnyme.com/d

How to select multiple files with the mouse:
Windows 7 and Vista operating systems have the option of selecting multiple files with the mouse without using the CTRL key.

  • Now a check box will appear next to each file. By ticking the left side of the file you need, the file selection will be completed and it can be copied or removed.
