How To Transfer Data from Windows PC to Apple Devices



The iPhone, iPod and iPad are very popular among all the Apple products. Transferring data from computer to an iPhone, iPod or iPad is not easy, usually from a Windows or any other OS. However you can easily store data or information’s to Apple devices.

Just follow these tips that describe how to transfer music, videos, image and other files from Windows PC to various Apple devices.

Tips to store data on Apple devices:
  • Go to http://goo.gl/GKOTo
  • Download and install the Mobile Go for iOS (23 MB) software on your computer
  • After the installation launch the software and connect your iPhone or iPod or iPad to your computer using USB cable in Windows operating system.
  • Now for iPhone, select the Administrator's iPhone 5 or choose from the device list and data that you want to transfer.
  • If you want to transfer music files, select Music from Media.
  • When you open the ‘Music’ window, select the ‘Export to’ menu and select the files you want to transfer.
  • Transfer the image file same as previous. Select ‘Photos’ from ‘Media’.
  • You can also keep your desired files separately by creating separate folder.

On-Screen Keyboard:
The keyboard is an important part (input device) of the computer. If the main keyboard is lost or not work properly, then the on-screen keyboard can be used as an alternative. To use the on-screen keyboard:
  • First turn on the computer and go to Start menu
  • Then go to All Programs from Start menu
  • Click Accessories and then click on Accessibility/ Ease of Access
  • Finally click on the On-Screen Keyboard
  • The on-screen keyboard will appear on your screen.
Shortcut process: Click on Start then Run. Type ‘OSK’ and press enter. The on-screen keyboard will come up.


Calculate your age using MS Excel:
A file created with Microsoft Excel allows to accurately calculating age. Follow the steps:
  • Download the Excel file named 'Age Calculator' from the address http://tnyme.com/d
  • Open the file and enter information’s in the Date box, Month (day, date, year). Then, in the Date of Birth box, enter your birth date, date and year periodically.
  • Finally by clicking on the ‘Age’ box will reveal your actual age as the day, date and month.
  • This rule allows anyone to calculate their age.

How to select multiple files with the mouse:
Windows 7 and Vista operating systems have the option of selecting multiple files with the mouse without using the CTRL key.
  • For this, go to Control Panel / Organize Computer and click on Folder Option and open the View tab and select the ‘Use check boxes to select items’.
  • Now a check box will appear next to each file. By ticking the left side of the file you need, the file selection will be completed and it can be copied or removed.

Setup Browsers Home Page | How To

When we launch a Browser, first a predefined web page appears. This page is called home page or start page.
If we want to set a particular page as our home page that means, when we launch Internet Explorer or any other web browser, the google front page (for example) should be appears on the first page.
We can set our own company / blog site or any other favorite site we like as home page.

Just follow the following simple steps to set a home page:

Internet Explorer:
  • Open Internet Explorer Browser.
  • Go to Tools -> Internet Options.

  • Select General tab, type desired web address in the address box. You can leave it Blank or can Use Current or set to Default.


  • Finally click “Apply” and “Ok”.

Opera Browser:
  • Open Opera Browser.
  • Go to Tools -> Preferences.

On the General tab type desired web address in the Home page address box or you can use current home page.

  • Finally click “OK”.

Netscape Browser:
  • Open Netscape Browser.
  • Go to Tools -> Options.

  • Select General Tab, type desired web address in the Location(s) box. Here you can use Current Pages / Select a page from Bookmark or Leave it Blank.

  • Finally click “OK”.
FireFox Browser:
  • Open Firefox Browser.
  • Go to Tools -> Options.
  • Type desired web address in address box. In the Home page section Click Use Current Button, if you don’t want to change it.



  • Finally, click on the “OK“ button.

Hide My Recent Documents Menu


The last files opened will be displayed on My Recent Documents menu. Anyone can access those recent used files from this menu. But we can hide this menu.

Just follow the simple steps bellow to hide My Recent Documents menu:

  1. Click Start -> Run.
  2. Type "regedit" and press Enter.
  3. Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER -> Software -> Microsoft -> Windows -> CurrentVersion -> Explorer -> Advanced.
  4. On the right window of the Registry Editor, right-click on the empty space.
  5. Choose New -> DWORD Value.
  6. Type "Start_ShowRecentDocs" and press Enter.
  7. Right-click the new key you've made and choose Modify.
  8. On the Value Data type the number "0" to hide My Recent Documents.
  9. Press OK.
  10. Restart Computer.

Disable or Turn Off AutoRun in Windows


To Disable or Turn Off autorun from your Computer

Just follow the simple steps bellow:

  1. Click Start > Run.
  2. Type "regedit" and press Enter.
  3. Go to HKEY_CURRENT _USER -> Software -> Microsoft -> Windows -> CurrentVersion -> Policies -> Explorer.
  4. On the right window of registry editor, right-click on NoDriveTypeAutoRun.
  5. Then click Modify.
  6. Change the value data into "ff" to disable auto-run function on the drive.
  7. Click OK.
  8. Then go to HKEY_USERS -> DEFAULT -> Software -> Microsoft -> Windows -> CurrentVersion -> Policies -> Explorer.
  9. Follow Step no 4 to Step no 7.
  10. Exit from Registry Editor.
  11. Restart Computer.
